Our motto is “Business is the best art,” signifying the interaction between art and business content. Studio Arkitekter is a Budapest-based design practice with the goal of reinventing the familiar. We collaborate with cultural, commercial, and private clients worldwide to design successful and memorable brands, spaces, objects, and experiences, focusing on designs that engage all the senses. We work on a diverse scale, with the Studio Arkitekter’s creative palette including retail stores, restaurants, bars, hotels, offices, homes, art installations, and limited edition products. These spaces and objects are often bold, innovative, and invite people to think. Viktor Csap returned to Budapest from Denmark in 2008 after completing his architectural studies. He then reimagined a panel apartment, radically redesigning the functions and reinventing the concept of interior design at the time. In 2011, he completed his first hotel project, for which he was nominated as Interior Designer of the Year. In 2012, he designed an exhibition installation for the New York-based Nooka design brand. After completing two of Budapest’s most iconic restaurants in 2014, he founded Studio Arkitekter. Following numerous successful projects including the michlen star 42 Resturant and media features, including Forbes, Elle Decoration, Vogue Living, and ArchDaily, his first book was published in 2023.

In 2024 q1 Szabolcs Szabo joined the company with 14 years of experience to fulfill our construction projects.
